About Start Ready Quest

Start Ready Quest is a tool that builds personalized, screen-free activity programs for kids ages 5 to 17. You answer a few questions about your kids, your goals, and how much time you have. It generates print-ready PDF missions written for those specific kids. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Who builds it

One person: Shawn Tuthill. I run Start Ready Quest LLC out of Houston, Texas, and I started it in June 2026. There is no team, no investors, and no call center. When you email in, I am the one who reads it and writes back.

That is worth saying plainly because it sets your expectations. Replies come from a person, usually within one business day. It also means the product changes often, and every change is listed with a date on the What's New page.

Why it exists

School breaks are long and screens are easy. Free printable chore charts and activity lists are everywhere, but they are generic. They do not know how old your kids are, what you are trying to teach them, or that you have ninety minutes a day and not four hours.

So the missions here are generated, not pulled from a template library. Two families with different ages, goals, and available time get two different programs. The point is that a parent can print it and hand it over without redesigning it first.

How it makes money

You pay once, per quest. The price is a $7 base fee plus $1 per mission per kid, so a 7-mission quest for one kid is $14. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. There is no subscription, no upsell, and nothing recurring. The full table is on the pricing page.

Missions are AI-generated from your answers, and I say that everywhere rather than hiding it. A parent reviews, approves, and supervises everything before a kid runs it. This is a planning tool, not professional, medical, or educational advice.

What I will not do

Start Ready Quest is new. It has no published customer reviews yet, so you will not find invented ones here or star ratings I made up. Kids are never named in anything shared: they appear as Quester 1, Quester 2, and so on. I do not sell or share personal information, which is covered in the privacy policy.

How to reach me

For downloads, reprints, and billing, the support page covers the common cases. If you want to see the real thing before paying, there is a free sample mission.
